Wembley and Alperton area guide

Formerly, a mix of neat suburban homes and low-rise commercial units, the areas of Wembley and Alperton in Northwest London are currently being revived as fresh investment and architectural plans flow into the neighbourhood. Wembley Stadium is famous for being the spiritual home of English football and the massive renovation of this sporting headquarters has brought with it plenty of property developer interest as the streets around it become home to smart new apartments, shopping malls and food courts.

This place-making has spread to neighbouring Alperton. Just around the corner from the exquisitely crafted and distinguished Sanatan Hindu Temple, is Grand Union, an impressive new property development comprising luxury one, two and three-bedroom apartments with views of the canal that gives it its name. Other, smaller schemes are also taking shape in the area like The Rise and Spring at Stonebridge Park.

Travel to and from the area is quick and convenient, thanks to the presence of three major Tube Lines. The Bakerloo Line shares a route with the mainline service from Stonebridge Park Station to Euston and the West End, while Wembley Park Station is a major stop on the Metropolitan Line which connects directly to St Pancras (Eurostar), Farringdon (Crossrail) and Liverpool Street (The City).
